"The Artist is easily one of the slightest, least substantial and least interesting Best Picture favorites in the history of the motion picture industry. People who voted for this film are emotional-default chumps and should really be ashamed of themselves. The Artist is a nice, likable, light-hearted film — neat concept, nothing wrong with it. But I spit on those who are calling it the best of the best."

Wells! (via seanfennessey)
I rarely get worked up about anything, perhaps least of all opinions on film, a medium I feel distinctly undereducated about, but considering that Wells, in the same piece, praises Midnight in Paris’ “great script,” I really wanna shove a tube sock in this dude’s mouth. Midnight in Paris was horseshit.
Throat sock for you, too, Quentin.
